Free, and honest about it

What free uptime monitoring means here.

Plenty of tools call something free, then gate the useful parts or start a countdown. Hesklo does neither. Here is exactly what the free plan is.

Free forever, not for 14 days

The free plan has no trial clock. Your monitor keeps running for as long as you want it, at no cost.

No credit card to start

Sign up with an email and go. We never ask for a card on the free plan, so there is nothing to cancel later.

Every integration included

Free does not mean email only. Send alerts to Slack, Discord, Teams, SMS, PagerDuty, Jira or any webhook, same as the paid plans.

The real product, one monitor

You get the visual escalation canvas and the full alerting engine. The free plan limits how much you watch, not what you can do.

Your free monitor

Point it at anything that answers.

The single free monitor can run any of four check types. Pick the one that fits what you need to keep an eye on.

HTTP

A site or API. Match a status code or a string in the body. SSL expiry is tracked for you.

Ping

A plain reachability check for whether a host answers at all.

TCP

Confirm a database, cache or service port is accepting connections.

SSH

Run a command and read its exit code. Check a service, disk or queue.

Need to watch more than one thing?

Paid plans start at seven dollars a month for ten monitors on one-minute checks, and add a public status page. Your free monitor carries straight over, nothing to redo.

Questions about the free plan

Is Hesklo really free?

Yes. One monitor is free forever, with no credit card and no trial that turns into a bill. You only pay if you choose to watch more than one thing or want faster checks.

What is the catch with free uptime monitoring?

No catch. The free plan watches one thing on a five-minute interval with seven days of history. Everything else, including all eight integrations and the escalation canvas, is included. The paid plans exist for people who need more monitors, faster checks or longer history.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. The free plan never asks for a card. You sign up with an email address and start monitoring straight away.

How is this different from a free trial?

A trial gives you everything for a short time then asks for payment. The free plan is permanent. It gives you less, one monitor instead of many, but it does not expire and it does not need a card.

What can I monitor for free?

Any one thing that answers. A website or API over HTTP, a host over ping, a port over TCP or a command over SSH. The single free monitor can be any of these.

What happens when I need more?

Move to a paid plan whenever you want. Your monitor, its policy and history carry over untouched. Paid plans start at seven dollars a month for ten monitors on faster checks.

Start monitoring in a couple of minutes.

One monitor, all eight integrations and the full escalation canvas, free forever. No card, no trial clock.
