Status pages

A public page that answers before they ask.

Publish a status page and choose exactly which monitors appear on it. Customers, colleagues and anyone else can check whether your services are up without opening a ticket or asking in a channel.

  • Live from your real checks. The page reflects the same monitors that drive your alerts, so it cannot quietly drift out of date.
  • Nothing is public until you say so. Each monitor is opted in individually from its own settings. The default is private.
  • Your domain, HTTPS handled. Point a CNAME at Hesklo and serve the page at status.your-domain.com without managing a certificate.
01 · Where it lives

A subdomain, or your own.

Every account can publish a page immediately, and move it to your own domain whenever you are ready.

Your Hesklo subdomain

The page lives at your-name.status.hesklo.com with your own page title. Nothing to configure beyond picking the name.

Bring your own domain

Point a CNAME at Hesklo and serve the page at status.your-domain.com, which keeps the page on your brand rather than ours.

HTTPS handled for you

Certificates for a custom domain are issued and renewed automatically. There is nothing to install and nothing to remember.

Your own page title

Name the page after your product or company so visitors recognise it as yours.

02 · What appears on it

You decide, monitor by monitor.

Most of what you monitor is nobody else's business. Publishing is opt-in per monitor rather than an all-or-nothing switch.

Opt in per monitor

Turn a monitor on for the status page from its own settings. Everything else stays private, including the ones watching internal infrastructure.

Live state

The page reads from the same checks that drive your alerts, so what visitors see matches what your team sees.

Clear operational status

Each published service shows its current state plainly, so a visitor gets an answer without interpreting a graph.

Fewer inbound tickets

The page answers "is it just me?" before it becomes a support conversation, which is most of its value during an incident.

Questions

Common questions

Can I use my own domain for the status page?
Yes. Point a CNAME at Hesklo and the page is served at your own address, such as status.your-domain.com. HTTPS is handled for you, so there is no certificate to obtain or renew.
Are all my monitors published automatically?
No. Nothing is public until you say so. Each monitor is turned on for the status page individually from its own settings, so internal infrastructure stays private by default.
Does the status page update automatically?
Yes. It reflects live state from the same checks that drive your alerts, so it cannot fall out of sync with reality the way a manually updated page does.
Is a status page included on the free plan?
Status pages are part of the paid plans. See the pricing page for the current breakdown of what each plan includes.
